New OIML 7000D Certified Load Cell from Group 4 Transducers
Group Four Transducers, Inc. the world leader in load cell technology announces the release of the model SPF5 single point load cell with 7000D OIML approval and a true digital output.
The Group Four SPF5 digital single point load cell designed for high speed filling and check weighing applications. The stainless-steel load cell is hermetically sealed and is ideal for use in heavy wash-down applications.
“I believe the SPF5 will have a significant impact on the market. We achieved OIML approval at 7000 divisions which was accomplished through precision engineering of the electronics to the strain gage allowing performance levels previously not available to the marketplace.” notes Steve Torres, Group Four Founder and CEO. “The SPF is constructed from stainless steel and is hermetically sealed to IP69K standards making it perfect for high performance filling and packaging machines in a heavy wash down environment. Tighter control on your filling or check weighing process equals less waste, and better consistency. All this offered at a very reasonable cost.”
The SP5 is available in capacity ranges from 10 kg to 100kg. The analog to digital conversion rate is up to 1200 per second @resolution of 1/200,000. The outputs offered are RS232, RS422 or RS485 which are available on Modbus, CAN Open interface, and wireless options are also specified as required.
